Extended Case: The Park Household

The Park family in Yeonje-gu approached us in early 2024 after the primary holder, Tae-ho, suffered a minor hand injury that made typing PINs difficult for several weeks. His wife, So-mi, realised she could not independently locate half the family’s cold-storage devices.

Over a single Home Vault Audit we catalogued six hardware wallets across two safes, identified a duplicate backup stored in a location Tae-ho had forgotten, and created a household continuity sheet naming So-mi as the secondary authorised person. Three quarterly inventory sessions followed, during which two new wallets were added after altcoin purchases.

So-mi now conducts informal monthly checks using the binder’s checklist. Tae-ho reports the system has reduced arguments about “which Ledger has the ETH” to near zero.

Extended Case: Multisig in a Home Office

A client in Marine City maintained a 2-of-3 multisig with cosigners in Seoul and Singapore. Their written records listed only two of three key locations correctly. During a Seed Phrase Verification session we mapped all three backup sites, assigned location codes, and updated the binder without any cosigner needing to travel to Busan.

The client noted that coordinating the session around cosigner availability took longer than the visit itself — a constraint worth planning for if your arrangement spans time zones.
